Urban Processing to participate in International Home & Housewares Show 2005

Wisconsin Rapids, WI - Urban Processing LLC, producer of all natural sweetened dried cranberries, will have representation at the International Home & Housewares Show 2005 at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL on March 20-22. Urban Processing’s gourmet line, under the name Urban Best, will be showing the full gourmet retail line of specialty cranberry products, to include three flavors of gourmet chocolate coated sweetened dried cranberries, sweet cranberry syrup, cranberry jelly, gourmet trail mix, and cranberry almond bark. Urban Best products are popular for use in gift baskets and corporate gift packages and can be found in gourmet gift shops and upscale grocery stores.

Urban Processing awarded DOVS certificate by U.S. Department of Agriculture

Wisconsin Rapids, WI - Urban Processing, LLC has been certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture with a Domestic Origin Verification System certificate. Urban Processing is the First Approved Program Participant in the nation. This certification, awarded sparingly by the department, verifies that a product can be traced back to its origin. Only six companies nationwide have earned this designation. Urban Processing, LLC, producer of sweetened dried cranberries, grows, harvests, processes and packages the cranberries on-site at their facility in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Owners Dan and Cheryl Urban are proud to know that theirs is one of a handful of companies that can trace the origin of their product, and have been so recognized on a national level. Not only can they prove their product’s origin, the origin happens to be their own cranberry marshes.

Governor Doyle promotes Wisconsin’s Cranberry Industry

Wisconsin Rapids, WI - Wisconsin state legislation has declared the cranberry Wisconsin’s state fruit. In keeping with his recent legislation efforts, Governor Jim Doyle helped celebrate the state fruit by scooping the first official scoop of Cranberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, created by the partnering of Urban Processing LLC, producer of all natural sweetened dried cranberries, and University of Wisconsin’s Babcock Dairy. Urban Processing, LLC provides the cranberry filling and topping for the newly created ice cream flavor. The cranberry filling and topping is one of many creative products which Urban Processing has developed as their Urban Best gourmet cranberry product line continues to grow.

Urban Processing Launches Gourmet Cranberry Products

Wisconsin Rapids, WI (December, 2003) – Urban Processing, LLC, makers of all natural kosher sweetened dried cranberries, launches a gourmet line of premium cranberry products under the brand name Urban Best. The Urban Best gourmet line currently consists of sweetened dried cranberries, cranberry topping or filling, sweet cranberry syrup, cranberry jelly, three flavors of gourmet chocolate coated sweetened dried cranberries, and two trail mixes.
